The developers of Flock 3.5, the latest version of the social web browser for Macs and Windows PCs, have just made the social networking experience even better.
While its main competitor, RockMelt, offers support only for Facebook and Twitter, Flock 3.5 supports Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and YouTube, as well as MySpace, Bebo, Digg and the hugely popular business networking site LinkedIn. The cross-platform browser automatically manages updates and media from all the major social media sites, allowing users to keep track of all their accounts via a sidebar that streams updates and comments from friends, as well as updates to feeds and blogs, as they happen. Sharing photos, videos and articles with just a single click of the mouse could not be easier, and you can even group friends and related sites together by area of interest.
Although previous versions of Flock were based on Firefox, the latest version uses Google’s Chromium platform and has Google Search built in. All you need to do is install the free software, register all your networking accounts and you’re ready to go!
